TEHRAN (FNA)- Tehran Symphony Orchestra is set to perform pieces by renowned Iranian and international composers in the Iranian capital.
"The concert will be held in two parts, presenting works by composers Mostafa Kamal Pourtorab, Gioachino Rossini and Felix Mendelssohn," said Tehran Symphony Orchestra conductor Manouchehr Sahbayi.
"Pourtorab's Wordless Song, Rossini's Barber of Seville and L'Italiana in Algeri, and Felix Mendelssohn's Symphony No. 4 will be among the works that will be performed by the orchestra," press tv quoted him as saying.
Sahbayi referred to the pieces as the masterpieces of world classical music.
The concert will be held from July 8 to 10, 2009 at Tehran's Vahdat Hall.
