TEHRAN (FNA)- The Iranian short film "My Tree" directed by Sara Siadat Nejad will be hosted by Le Festival international des programs audiovisuals (FIPA) in France.
The festival which only showcases TV films and programs is to be run from January 20 to 25 and will be held in capital Paris.
"My Tree" depicts the story of a young woman artist who tries to draw a dried tree which has spread its roots in the coast of an endless and calm sea. The painter pours a bucket of water into the tree before painting and is dreaming instead of drawing.
According to the Iranian students news agency, the Iranian film has also received the top prizes in "New Media" section of Greek and Spanish international festivals.
The fest is to host 122 short films, documentaries, TV episodes, performance and reportage. It has been held for the 22nd year and showcases the selected works in 8 separate sections.
