Ahmadinejad Underlines Iran's Support for Palestinian People

TEHRAN (FNA)- Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in a meeting with Hamas politburo Chief Khaled Mashaal on Sunday stressed that Iran will always stand by the oppressed people of Palestine.

Ahmadinejad also reiterated that the condition is changing in favor of independent countries and enemies are experiencing successive failures, noting savage actions of Zionist regime leaders and puppet show of the US officials will not save domineering system.

The failed assault over Gaza Strip and Lebanon, lack of success in reforming the US image after the US resident Barack Obama took office, lack of success in Afghanistan and Iraq are among failures of World Arrogance and particularly the US and Zionist regime over recent years, he added.

Khaled Mashaal on his part said Hamas and the Resistance will continue combat against World Arrogance until Palestine's goals become reality.

He also outlined recent developments in Palestine.

The Resistance and Palestinians will thwart enemies' plots through full vigilance, Mashaal added.

He also said Palestinians are resolute to return to their homeland.
