TEHRAN (FNA)- Iranian Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance Mohammad Hosseini on Monday urged the leaders of the world countries to attach much importance to the cultural exchanges among the nations.
Hosseini made the remarks, addressing a cultural gathering attended by ambassadors and cultural representatives of several world countries, including France, Italy, Hungary, South Korea and Armenia.
Hosseini said paying attention to political and economic issues is not adequate, underlining the need for further consideration of cultural issues.
He expressed hope that the Islamic Republic could arrange various cultural programs at the international level.
Hosseini said his ministry is trying to present the real picture of the Islamic Republic to the world through joint cultural and artistic activities with other countries.
