Cleric: Iranian Nation not to Give up N. Rights

TEHRAN (FNA)- Tehran's Provisional Friday Prayers Leader Hojjatoleslam Kazem Sediqi underlined on Friday that Iranian nation will, by no means and at no cost, give up its nuclear rights.

"The West can not deprive Iranian nation from its peaceful nuclear program through media hue and cry and lies," said Sediqi in his second Friday prayers sermon in Tehran University campus.

He said as enemies of Iranian nation failed in their conspiracies, including the 8-year imposed war of Iraq, they will suffer another defeat in the ongoing media war.

"They falsely claim that Iran has breached agreements, while there has been no deal actually to be violated," the Islamic republic news agency quoted Sediqi as saying.

He noted that Iran has since the beginning considered itself committed to all the international conventions and today too, no one can deprive the Iranian nation from their nuclear rights.

The cleric said that enemies now falsely think that by exerting pressures they can bring the Iranian nation into their knees but to no avail.

Elsewhere in his sermon, Hojjatoleslam Sediqi thanked the Iranian nation for their glowing participation in the rallies on the 16th of Azar (December 7th) or the Student Day, marking the anniversary of the murder of three students of Tehran University by Iranian police in Pahlavi era.
