The event will feature six plays directed by Hamid Reza Azarang, Reza Gashtasb, Mohammad Yaqoobi, Yaser Khaseb and Ali Abedi.
Based in the west German city of Muehlheim, the Ruhr theater group has performed several plays in Iran since 1998, as Iranian actors and actresses have also captivated German audiences with their theatrical skills over the past years, the Islamic republic news agency reported.
The German ensemble was the first western theater group to perform in Iran since the victory of the 1979 Islamic Revolution.
