The film has been nominated for best feature film, best scrip writer, best director and best actress prizes.
Also "A light in Fog" by Iran's Ali Mohammad Ghasemi has been nominated for best filming prize.
The script of "About Elly" is arranged by Asghar Farhadi, the Iranian students news agency reported.
37 films from Australia, Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Iran, Japan, Palestine, New Zealand, China, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Russia, Thailand, Turkey and Israel have been nominated to receive prizes in Asia Pacific Film Festival.
The awards will be granted on November 26 in Australia.
