Official Stresses Iran's Will to Expand Ties with Tajikistan

TEHRAN (FNA)- The Iranian and Tajik presidents are resolved to further develop bilateral ties between the two countries, specially in cultural fields, Deputy Head of Iran's National Youth Organization Faramarz Dezfouli stressed on Monday.

Dezfouli made the remarks in a meeting with deputies and managers of Tajikistan's youth, tourism and physical education organization in Shiraz, the capital city of Fars province in southern Iran.

At the meeting, the Iranian official urged for the consolidation of relations between the two countries in cultural and social fields.

Dezfouli also reminded that Iran and Tajikistan signed some articles of association in December to expand interactions between the two countries' youth organizations.

Also at the meeting, the Deputy Head of Tajikistan's Youth, Tourism and Physical Education Organization Kabir Jan Jouliov viewed the Tajik delegation's visit to Iran as positive, and reiterated the friendly ties between Tehran and Dushanbe.
