The artworks include calligraphy, miniature, painting and illumination is underway in Dushanbe. The exhibition will continue until March 14.
Fatemeh Pananhian, a painter and illuminator participating at the event told the Islamic republic news agency that illuminations on cardboard, shell and camel bone and tableaux themed 'Pelican' and 'One Soul in Two Bodies' are on display at the event.
Seyyedeh Soghra Hosseini, calligraphist, said that she has presented 18 tableaux featuring Quranic verses and poems by noted Iranian poets.
Roya Kazerouni, a miniaturist, who has earlier won awards from the international Quran exhibitions and miniature biennial, said that she has put on display 20 miniatures.
Meanwhile, Amaneh Badr ol-Sama told the agency that she is taking part at the event with 17 water color and acrylic paintings.
The exhibit is sponsored by the Islamic Republic of Iran's Cultural House in Tajikistan.
