Iran's Graphic Designers to Take Part in Warsaw Poster Biennial

TEHRAN (FNA)- A Dozen Iranian graphic designers are due to take part in the 22nd edition of the Warsaw International Poster Biennial.



Reza Babajani, Iman Safaei, Mohammad Jamshidi, Mohammad Khodashenas, Ehsan Mahdavi, Davoud Morgan, Ladan Rezaei and Mehdi Saeedi will be among the participants of the Polish event.

Noushin Karami, Kaveh Maddah-Raad and Seyed Mojtaba Rouhani will compete in the biennial's Golden Debut category, and Amir Rezaei will take part in the Chopin Anew section.

This year's international jury is composed of Cao Fang (China), Alejandro Magallanes (Mexico), Finn Nygaard (Denmark), Marian Oslislo (Poland), Gunter Rambow (Germany) and Monika Zawadzka (Poland).

The first biennale of its kind in the world, the Warsaw International Poster Biennial was launched by Professor Jozef Mroszczak in 1966.

The event is endorsed by the International Council of Graphic Design Association (Icograda), which funds an Excellence Biennale Award.
