Iranian, Kazakh Defense Officials Meet in Astana

TEHRAN (FNA)- Iranian Deputy Defense Minister Brigadier General Mohammad Eslami and Kazakh Defense Minister Adilbek Dzhaksybekov held a meeting in Astana to discuss bilateral relations and exchange views over other issues of mutual interest.



During the meeting, held on Friday on the sidelines of the first international exhibition on military and defense industries in Kazakhstan, the two sides conferred on defense cooperation between Tehran and Astana.

Eslami, who is heading a high-ranking delegation during the trip to Kazakhstan, visited the exhibition named as 'KADEX.2010' which was inaugurated by the Turkish and Kazakh presidents.

More than 200 companies from 20 countries, including China, Germany, France, Russia, Turkey, South Korea and Kazakhstan, have participated in the exhibition to show their latest achievements in area of warfare and military equipment production.
