Functions:

The Southern Sudan Land Commission performs the following functions and duties:

1. Develop land laws and policies;
    
2. Conduct research on land matters;
    
3. Arbitrate on land disputes; and
    
4. Advise various levels of government on land issues.

Structure:

The Southern Sudan Land Commission is headed by the Chairperson supported by the following commissioners:

1. Hon Wilson Kiri
    
2. Hon Deng Gau
    
3. Hon Benjamin Akol

The Commission is composed of the following administrative units:

1. Finance & Administration;
    
2. Coordination;
    
3. Conflict Resolution.
