UNOPS and USAID are working in partnership in Cooperative Agreement for the implementation of USAID’s Sudan Accelerated Infrastructure Programme. As part of this programme UNOPS is implementing the rehabilitation works of the Steel Bridge over Nile River, on Juba–Nimule Road, Juba Town Central Equatoria State, Republic of South Sudan Project funded by USAID.

 

The United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) is pleased to invite eligible and qualified prospective bidders (Bidders) to bid for the rehabilitation works of Steel Bridge over Nile River, on Juba–Nimule Road, Juba Town, Central Equatoria, Republic of South Sudan. The work comprises the removing of damaged panels of the incoming bridge, replacement with the new panels supplied by UNOPS, in accordance with the requirements, terms and conditions stipulated in this ITB, its Annexes and related documents (Bidding Documents).

  1. This Invitation for Bids follows the General Procurement Notice for this Project that appeared in Development Business and dgMarket, Issue No. OP00004568 of 17th June 2010.
     
  2. The Republic of South Sudan–Ministry of Water Resources & Irrigation has received a grant from the Multi-Donor Trust Fund-Southern Sudan (MDTF-SS), administered by the World Bank, toward the cost of the Water Supply and Sanitation Project. It intends to apply part of this fund to cover eligible payments under the Contract MWRI-WRKS-006/2011 for Construction of Public Latrines in the 10 States of South Sudan.

  1. This Invitation for Bids follows the General Procurement Notice for this Project that appeared in United Nations Development Business and dgMarket, Issue No. OP00004568 of 17th June 2010.
  2. The Republic of South Sudan has received a Grant from the Multi Donor Trust Fund – South Sudan (MDTF-SS) administered by the World Bank toward the cost of the Water Supply and Sanitation Project and intends to apply a portion of the funds to eligible payments under the contract MWRI-SUP-007/2011 for which this Invitation for Bids is issued.
