Iran's Volleyball Team Ranks 9th in FIVB's 2011 Competitions

TEHRAN (FNA)- Iran's Volleyball Team stood the 9th place in the FIVB Volleyball Men's World Cup 2011 competitions held in Japan.

Iran's national volleyball team stood the first place in Asia, before Japan and China.

Iran also climbed to 13th place at the latest FIVB World Rankings after gaining 55.5 points.

Brazil by attaining 300 points became the contest's champion while Russia with 270 points and Italy with 226 points stood at second and third places, respectively.

The 2011 FIVB Volleyball Men's World Cup started in Japan on November 20, and was wrapped up on December 4.

Captured 19 times between December 13, 2011 and June 13, 2013
