Palestinian Speaker Voices Support for Iranian Nation's N. Rights

TEHRAN (FNA)- Speaker of the Palestinian National Council (PNC) Salim Al-Zanon in a message to his Iranian counterpart Ali Larijani underlined his solidarity and support for Iran's access and use of the civilian nuclear technology.

"We announce our solidarity with the Islamic Republic in its efforts to acquire peaceful nuclear energy," Zanon said in his message on Sunday.

He referred to the negative propaganda and threatening remarks uttered by the western powers and the Zionist regime against Iran's peaceful nuclear technology, and said, "We condemn the aggressive and occupying regime's threatening propaganda against the Islamic Republic of Iran and its peaceful nuclear program."

Zanon also deplored the Zionist regime's atomic stockpiles and the arrogant powers' silence and indifference to the regime's criminal actions.

Israel and its close ally the United States accuse Iran of seeking a nuclear weapon, while they have never presented any corroborative document to substantiate their allegations. Both Washington and Tel Aviv possess advanced weapons of mass destruction, including nuclear warheads.

Iran vehemently denies the charges, insisting that its nuclear program is for peaceful purposes only. Tehran stresses that the country has always pursued a civilian path to provide power to the growing number of Iranian population, whose fossil fuel would eventually run dry.

Israeli has repeatedly threatened to use military force to stop Iran's nuclear progress and damage its accomplishments. Iran has, in return, warned that it would target Israel and its worldwide interests in case it comes under attack by the Tel Aviv.
