Iran's Defense Ministry on Monday supplied a number of newly developed anti-ship coastal cruise missile systems to the country's Navy
The Islamic Republic Navy was equipped with new coastal cruise missile systems as part of the country's broader plans for enhancing its defense capabilities in Seas
The new coast-to-sea missile systems were officially transferred to the country's Navy in a ceremony attended by Commander of the Iranian Army's Navy Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari and Iranian Defense Minister Brigadier General Ahmad Vahidi.
The newly developed anti-ship coastal cruise missile system have been developed in three types of light, independent and extensive sites
The new coastal cruise missile systems enjoy advanced features of target detection, missile launch pads and radar guidance systems
All the designing and development phases of the new coastal cruise missile systems have been carried out by the Iranian experts
Deployment of new cruise systems along coastal lines will provide Iran with the capability to identify, detect and destroy multiple targets thorough a single command and control center
