Iranian Scientist Wins Tajikistan's Prestigious Science Title

TEHRAN (FNA)- Tajikistan granted its highest award in science to a young Iranian scientist.



According to FNA dispatches, Reza Amini Najafabadi was granted the 'Esmayeel Samani Award', Tajikistan's most important award in science and research, for his five scientific inventions during the last four years.

Najafabadi, 33, is the first foreign national who has received the Esmayeel Samani award which is granted by Tajikistan government annually.

Najafabadi's scientific inventions and discoveries are seen as a breakthrough in many various fields, including marine industries, aerospace, defense and building construction and have been officially registered by Tajikistan's relevant bodies.

Iran has taken wide strides in science and technology, particularly in medical and medicinal fields, in recent years.

Iran ranks first in scientific progress in the region.
