TEHRAN (FNA)- Iranian photographers scooped the prizes at Serbia's 1st 'Portrait 2012' International Circular Exhibition of Photography.
The internationally-awarded Alireza Vahmi received two SALON praises for his works 'Masked and Mother' that took part in the 'People and Streets', and Portrait sections of the exhibition.
Vahmi's other work 'Classmates' also won the UPI medal of the Free Theme section of the international event.
A Silver SALON medal of the Free Theme section was granted to Alireza Hassanzadeh Fard's 'Schools' while Mohammad-Reza Momeni's 'His Eyes' received the SALON praise of the Portrait section of the event.
A collection of photographs by the winners will be displayed in Serbian towns of Zajecar, Paracin and Aleksinac from March 20, to April 2, 2012.
Hundreds of artists from all over the world competed in five different sections and organizers granted more than 250 awards to winners.
