Ahmadinejad Renews Iran's Determination to Preserve Inalienable Rights

TEHRAN (FNA)- Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad reiterated Iran's determination to safeguard its inalienable rights and make further progress in different scientific and industrial fields.

Ahmadinejad underlined that the great Iranian nation would not have the least doubt to build and upgrade the brilliant Iranian land and materialize its essential and inalienable rights.

Despite the rules enshrined in the Non-Proliferation Treaty entitling every member state, including Iran, to the right of uranium enrichment, Tehran is now under four rounds of UN Security Council sanctions and a series of western unilateral embargos for turning down West's calls to give up its right of uranium enrichment.

Tehran has dismissed the West's demand as politically tainted and illogical, stressing that sanctions and pressures merely consolidate Iranians' national resolve to continue the path.

Ahmadinejad added that Iranian nation along with other nations would withstand adventurism of the arrogant powers and get more determined to meet their due rights, establish monotheism, justice and human dignity.

He made the remarks, addressing the officials and ambassadors of Muslim states, attending a meeting with the Supreme Leader of Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei in Tehran on Sunday.
