Qatar's Sabotage Plot against UAE Revealed

TEHRAN (FNA)- The western and Arab intelligence services have recently warned the United Arab Emirates (UAE) about a sabotage plot hatched by Qatar against the tiny Persian Gulf country, sources revealed on Wednesday.

"The warnings were issued after investigations and interrogation of a number of foreign nationals and elements from different countries, including a number of Emirati people who have arrested in recent weeks," the Palestinian news website, al-Manar, quoted the unnamed sources as saying today.

The UAE intelligence services also announced that the detainees plotted for terrorist attacks and their confessions show their plots against Doha were truly dangerous.

"The footprints of certain groups affiliated to the leaders of Qatari sheikhdoms are seen in this plot and no one can ignore or reject these clues," the sources said.

The confessions made by the detainees have also led to the discovery of a large number of weapons smuggled to the UAE, said the sources who asked to remain anonymous due to the sensitivity of the top secret information.
