Afghan FM Spokesman Hails Iran for Supporting Peace Talks in Afghanistan

TEHRAN (FNA)- Afghan Foreign Ministry Spokesman Janan Mosazai lauded Iran for supporting the peace talks in Afghanistan.

Mosazai made the remarks during his weekly press briefing on Sunday.

The Afghan foreign ministry spokesman underlined that Iran has always supported peace talks in Afghanistan.

As regards his country's ties with Iran, Mosazai said, "Tehran-Kabul relations, as two neighboring states with common culture, are very important for the government of Afghanistan."

Iran is one of the most important donors to Afghanistan which has kept its promises to help to the reconstruction of the war-hit country.

Iran has built some roads, power transmission lines, and border stations, among the other infrastructure projects which would better link the two nations.
