Iran's Wrestlers Win Bronze Medals in London Olympics

TEHRAN (FNA)- Iran's free-style wrestlers Komeil Qassemi and Ehsan Nasser Lashgari bagged bronze medals in the London Olympics after beating their US and Turkish rivals respectively.

Three-time Asian champion Nasser Lashgari defeated Turkey's Ibrahim Bolukbasi in men's 84-kilogram freestyle in London on Saturday to get the bronze.

Sharif Sharifov of Azerbaijan won the gold medal in this category and Jaime Yusept Espinal of Puerto Rico won the silver medal.

Iran's Qassemi defeated Tervel Ivaylov Dlagnev of the US in men's 120-kilogram freestyle.

Artur Taymazov of Uzbekistan won his third successive Olympic gold in the 120-kilogram freestyle wrestling class, beating Davit Modzamanashvili of Georgia in the final match.
