5 Palestinians Wounded in Tubas Clashes with Israeli Army

TEHRAN (FNA)- Five Palestinians were wounded by rubber bullets on Wednesday morning during clashes with Israeli forces in the Faraa refugee camp in the Northern part of West Bank district of Tubas, locals said.

The clashes were prompted by a military raid on the camp at 5 a.m. when 14 army jeeps entered the area, breaking into several homes and searching residents, locals said.

The wounded were identified by residents as Qais Abul Hasan, Sleiman Shawish, Ahmad Hadad, Zakaria Abdul Hadi and Abdul Rahman Amir.

They were transferred to hospitals in Nablus for treatment, the official Palestinian Maan News Agency reported.
