Envoy Demands Iran to Arrange Film Week in Singapore

TEHRAN (FNA)- Singapore's Ambassador to Tehran Chutai Su in a meeting with Head of Iran's Cinematic Organization Javad Shamaqdari called for holding Iran's Film Week in his country.



During the meeting in Tehran on Wednesday, the Singaporean envoy described Iranian cinema as clean, humane and great, and said that today the world needs Iranian cinema.

Chutai urged Shamaqdari to facilitate participation of the Iranian filmmakers in Iran's Film Week in Singapore in the near future.

Shamaqdari, for his part, briefed Chutai about Iran's cinema industry in the international arena, and proposed that Iran and Singapore start joint ventures and joint cinematic productions.
