Int'l Holy Quran Competitions Wrap Up in Tehran

TEHRAN (FNA)- The 30th International Holy Quran Competitions with representatives from over 70 countries in attendance ended its work here in Tehran.



The competitions which started at Tehran's Milad Tower International Convention Center last week wrapped up on Thursday.

The jury of the contest has 17 members, 8 of whom were Iranian and the rest were from other countries.

Officials and reciters of Holy Quran from more than 70 Muslim and non-Muslim countries have taken part in the six-day event.

Vahid Vakili and Hashem Soltaninejad represented Iran in the competitions in both reading and reciting sections.
