Husan Harb, 24, was detained late Monday, said researcher Ahmad al-Bitawi of the Tadamun ("Solidarity") Foundation for Human Rights.
Husan's father, Sheikh Hussam Harb, was detained days earlier in an arrest raid on Salfit in the Northern part of West Bank, according to the group. It described the son's arrest as a means to pressure the father, the official Palestinian Maan News Agency reported.
The elder Harb was released from Israeli custody after 30 months in prison nearly a year earlier, the group said. He was re-arrested on June 4.
