Iran, Poland to Expand Cine Cooperation

TEHRAN (FNA)- Iranian and Polish officials announced on Saturday that the two countries plan to bolster mutual cooperation in cinematic affairs.

The issue was raised in a meeting between Managing-Director of the Iranian Center for Documentary Cinema Shafi Aqa-Mohammadian and the Polish Embassy's Cultural and Press Attaché here in Tehran today.

At the meeting, the two sides decided to arrange a week of Iranian films in Poland and vice versa.

The two sides further studied ways for joint production of feature and documentary films.

Poland has recently shown deeper interests in expanding cultural and art cooperation with Iran. Iran's documentary, short and feature films have recently been on screen in Poland.

Iran's "Days without Calendar" and "Nose Iranian Style" by Mehrdad Oskouei were recently showcased in Poland's Planete Doc film festival in capital Warsaw.
