Iranian Movies to Go on Screen in Berlin

TEHRAN (FNA)- The 61st Berlin International Film Festival (Berlinale) is to screen three Iranian movies.



Where Is Fatemeh's House? directed by Fereidoun Najafi, Wind and Fog by Mohammad Ali Talebi, and animated movie One-Line Stories by Behzad Farhat will go on screen during the February 10-20 Berlinale.

The Iranian movies will be competing in the Generation Kplus section of the Berlinale, which is dedicated to children films.

Where Is Fatemeh's House? and One-Line Stories are in the feature length films category and Wind and Fog is in the short films category.

A total of 59 films from 30 countries will compete in the Generation section, under the headings Kplus and 14plus.

Late in December, another short film was selected to go on screen at the 2011 Berlinale.

Into Thin Air directed by award-winning Iranian filmmaker Mohammad-Reza Farzad will be screened in the Forum Expanded program of the prestigious festival.
