"Afghanistan's legal immigrants face no limitations to study at the Iranian schools and educational institutes," Iranian Interior Ministry's Director General for Aliens and Foreign Immigrants Affairs Aziz Kazzemi said.
He noted that there are currently a total of 310,000 Afghan nationals studying at Iranian schools and educational institutes.
"Registration at Iranian schools is free for those Afghans who live in Iran with legal permissions," Kazzemi added.
Iran is one of the most important donors to Afghanistan which has kept its promises to help to the reconstruction of the war-hit country.
Iran has built some roads, power transmission lines, and border stations, among the other infrastructure projects which would better link the two nations.
