"The two countries' common religions and civilizations necessitate us to increase our interactions in culture and art and we have always supported it," Sadeqov said in a meeting with Iran's Cultural Attaché in Kyrgyzstan Ali Kebriyayeezadeh.
He described Iran as "a well-known country in global art", and noted that consolidation of cultural interactions with Iran will motivate those active in various fields of art in Kyrgyzstan.
The Iranian diplomat, for his part, lauded the close cooperation between the Kyrgyz academy of art and his office, and reiterated Iran's preparedness to expand relations with Kyrgyzstan in culture and art.
Iran and Central Asia have in recent years accelerated their efforts to expand bilateral and regional cooperation in all the various fields.
In July 2012, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in a meeting with Kyrgyz Finance Minister Akylbek Japarov underlined that there is no restriction and limitation for the further expansion of the relations between Tehran and Bishkek.
