Functions:

The Ministry of Cabinet Affairs performs the following functions and duties:

1. Manage the organization and coordination of Government business;
2. Provide administrative and secretarial support to the Council of Ministers and its sectoral sub-committees;
3. Undertake executive activities to support the Council of Ministers of the Government of the RSS to fulfill its constitutional duties;
4. Follow up the executions of the resolutions and directives of the Council of Ministers of the Government of the Republic of South Sudan;
5. Undertake documentation and communication of te resolutions of the Council of Ministers of the RSS to relevant bodies and individuals;
6. Compilation of data and reports from RSS ministries for presentation to the Council of Ministers;
7. Prepare draft agendas for the Council of Ministers meetings;
8. Collect, review and distribute materials for the Council of Ministers meetings;
9. Record the deliberations of Council of Ministers meetings;
10. Coordinate the follow-up of Council of Ministers meetings decisions;
11. Maintain the archives of the Council of Ministers meetings;
12. Administer the emoluments of the President, Vice President, Presidential Advisors, Ministers, Constitutional Post-Holders and Chair-Persons of Commissions;
13. Arrange payments of emoluments and privileges of the President, Vice-President, Presidential Advisors, Ministers and other constitutional post-holders during and after their relief from office.
