About

Kristine Stolakis is a San Francisco-based documentary filmmaker and producer. She is an M.F.A. candidate in documentary film and video at Stanford University, and holds a B.A. in Cultural Anthropology from New York University. Her films have played nationally, most recently at the Harlem International Film Festival. Her work has also been featured in news outlets including Mother Jones and NPR affiliate KALW in San Francisco. 
 
She holds a B.A. in Cultural Anthropology from New York University, and has trained at the Bay Area Video Coalition, Duke's Center for Documentary Studies, Dublin's National College of Art and Design, and Create—Dublin's national development agency for collaborative arts. She proudly hails from central New York and North Carolina.
