Stanford GSB faculty have access to the following library services.

24-hour Access

The Bass Center building is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. In addition, Stanford GSB faculty and PhD students have 24-hour access to the library collection with Stanford ID card. Use the self-checkout machine to check out items after hours.

Research Services

Our librarians provide customized research support, including research consulting, data and bibliography compilation, data acquisition assistance, and case writing support.

  • Request research support (Research assistants and case writers: indicate your faculty member’s name in the request.)

Document Delivery Service & Interlibrary Loan

Need an article, book, book chapter, or paper for work-related research? We’ll obtain a single copy of the material for you — whether it’s at our library, another Stanford library, or off-campus.

Current Awareness Service

Use this service to track and order copies of articles from the latest issue of your favorite journals held in the library’s collection.

Bibliography Management Software

Stanford GSB faculty members have three options available to them:

  • EndNote: You may need to pay for the license from your research funds. To make your request, submit a service ticket.
  • RefWorks: Licensed by Stanford University, this service is free for any Stanford user.
  • Mendeley: Join the Stanford Mendeley Group to use Mendeley.
