Winter closure for the Stanford campus is Friday, Dec. 18 through Sunday, Jan. 3, 2016. During this time, some offices and labs on campus must be staffed and therefore, limited University IT support is provided.
We will provide the following support hours:
For critical system problems: Our IT Operations Center will be staffed (as it always is) 24 hours a day, each and every day. All systems will be monitored, and systems administrators will be pulled in to investigate any outages or degraded applications. The IT Operations staff is available at 650-725-4357 (5-HELP).
For end-user support: Our IT Service Desk will be open seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. except for the following university holidays: Dec. 24 and 25, 2015 and Jan. 1, 2016. The Service Desk staff is also available at 650-725-4357 (5-HELP).
The HelpSU portal: The portal will be open and available, however, many support groups will not be staffed during winter closure. Inquiries for those support groups that will not be staffed will be handled when they return to work on Monday, Jan. 4, 2016.
