The 125th Stanford Commencement is fast approaching and we look forward to your participation in this very special weekend for the Stanford community, graduating students, their families, and friends. Please take a moment to review important faculty instructions and scheduling information regarding the weekend's festivities.

For those faculty who have confirmed participation, please arrive to the Sunken Diamond with your Stanford ID card at 8:45 AM in academic attire.

Academic Attire Rentals

All graduating students and participating staff and faculty are required to wear a cap and gown to process in the main Commencement ceremony and Baccalaureate. Order online beginning March 14, 2016. Orders may be collected from the Stanford Bookstore, Lower Level, starting on June 3, 2016. Should you need assistance in ordering your academic attire rentals, please contact Amanda McCall at the Stanford Bookstore by phone at (650) 329-1217 ext. 329 or via email: a.mccall@bookstore.stanford.org.

*Please note the academic regalia online pre-order deadline is May 6, 2016 should you need to rent a cap, gown, or hood. Open stock will be available at the Stanford Bookstore from June 3, 2016. Should you wish to purchase custom regalia, please contact Amanda McCall at the Stanford Bookstore by phone at (650) 329-1217 ext. 329 or via email: a.mccall@bookstore.stanford.org by the deadline of April 23.

Degrees will be conferred; however, no diplomas will be awarded at this ceremony. President Hennessy will address the assemblage as well as the Commencement speaker; the Cuthbertson, Gores, and Dinkelspiel awards will be presented.
