University IT has extended the hours that Stanford faculty, staff, and students can get support from Stanford’s enterprise-wide IT Service Desk (aka the Help Desk). Our staff is now available for an additional hour each weekday and during the day on weekends.
Our new operating hours are Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. During these hours, staff will answer our (72)5-HELP line and respond to many of the incoming HelpSU requests. As before, during non-business hours, clients calling 5-HELP will hear an “after-hours” menu, which will allow them to leave a message for the IT Service Desk or to alert our IT Operations Center of a service outage.
