Description
Michael McFaul is the director of the Freeman Spogli Institute for International Studies and a professor of political science. He is a senior fellow at the Hoover Institution and the Woods Institute for the Environment. He is the former U.S. ambassador to Russia. McFaul’s research interests include American foreign policy, great power relations and the relationship between democracy and development.
