Despite the current suspension of visitor tours, programs, and information sessions, the Stanford Visitor Center will remain open from 8:30am – 5:00pm on weekdays in order to provide general campus information and assist visitors already on campus. The Visitor Center will be closed, however, on weekends until further notice. While we strongly recommend the use of downloadable maps and virtual tours (available on this website), paper maps will be available outside the Visitor Center doors on weekends. We also highly recommend downloading the free and highly useful Stanford Mobile app (https://uit.stanford.edu/stanford-mobile) for University information, updates, maps, and services. Given that the status of services and offerings is subject to change at any point, we encourage visitors to check this website for updates.

We are very sorry for this inconvenience. We know many of you have been looking forward to touring our campus, but with recent developments, it is our responsibility to do our part to protect the public and our campus community. This includes taking measures to reduce visitor traffic to the University. The Visitor Center is currently scheduled to remain open weekdays for general information.
Urgent Announcement Regarding Admit Weekend
We are canceling the in-person version of this year’s Admit Weekend, our annual spring event for prospective undergraduates who have been or will be offered admission to Stanford. This year’s event was originally scheduled for the weekend of April 23-26. While we are disappointed to take this step, we believe it is prudent given the continued spread of COVID-19 and changing travel conditions.

We are working, however, to develop replacement programming and are excited by the possibilities for an innovative and compelling virtual experience for our admitted students to the Class of 2024. Go Cardinal!
