Stanford Conferences Meeting Planning Team wins Industry Award
Meeting Planning Manager Brigid Neff and Meeting Planner Christina Cusack recently won the coveted Meeting Professionals International Northern California Chapter’s (MPINCC) Award for Meeting Professionals of the 4th Quarter (April, May, June 2018). MPINCC relies heavily on volunteers, and nominees for this distinguished award displayed exemplary contributions that helped achieve committee goals and objectives.
Brigid Neff recently served as co-chair of the MPINCC Gala and Awards Committee, successfully managing this multi-faceted event attended by members of the professional organization. The sold-out gala at the California Academy of Sciences in June showcased the best of meeting planning trends. Christina Cusack helped with CMP University (CMPU, the training course for CMP candidates) and also volunteered with MPINCC’s marketing team by designing logos and graphics for various MPINCC events. Another MP team member has also been honored for her contributions to the meeting planning profession. Meeting Planner and Conferences Operations Manager Suzette Escobar served as co-chair of the committee tasked with overseeing course arrangements and helping candidates prepare for the Certification in Meeting Planning (CMP) exam. Many newly minted CMPs in the industry are grateful to Suzette and have greatly benefited from her hard work.
