Vaden Health Center

COVID-19 Information for Students

In the interest of promoting the safest possible experience for our patients and providers, Vaden Health Center is asking any student who wishes to be seen to CALL the health center (650-498-2336) and speak with a medical professional, rather than coming in directly. Our medical professionals will advise you as to next steps. You may also book a Phone Visit via the Vaden Patient Portal.

If you believe you have been exposed to COVID-19, and develop symptoms such as fever, cough, sore throat, or difficulty breathing, one option is to call Stanford's Express Care at 650-736-5211 to be screened. A medical professional will assess your symptoms and other criteria (set by the CDC and the county public health department) to determine if a test is appropriate. If testing is indicated, drive-through appointments for Stanford Medicine’s COVID-19 test are available to patients who have been referred, based on their symptoms and exposure. (The drive-through COVID-19 testing service is offered from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., 7 days per week, at Express Care’s Hoover Pavilion location. Testing is by appointment only.)

If you are experiencing severe shortness of breath, please go to the nearest Emergency Department. The Stanford Medical Center Emergency Department is located at 1199 Welch Road. The phone number is 650-723-5111.

Vaden is not performing any testing for COVID-19 at this time.
