At Stanford R&DE, we provide an exceptional dining experience regardless of your living location. With locally-sourced, sustainable ingredients, our talented chefs craft delicious options for every meal of the day. In order to control the flow of students and adhere to physical distancing guidelines, students will be assigned to a specific dining location based on their housing assignment.

Undergraduate Meal Plans
The dining experience plays a key role in the University's mission to build community, foster student well-being and provide residential learning opportunities beyond the classroom. Therefore, students in most residence halls are required to participate in an R&DE Stanford Dining meal plan that offers a number of flexible dining options.
Go cashless and save! Purchase Cardinal Dollars (loaded on your Stanford ID) and get a 10% bonus upfront. This payment option provides the security and convenience of a debit card and can be used at R&DE-owned retail locations including the Market at Munger, and athletic concessions stands at Stanford Stadium, Maples Pavilion and Sunken Diamond.

Your go-to local market that makes campus living easier with everything you need from meal kits, fresh produce, groceries and a variety of ingredients for home cooking, as well as household and personal essentials to get you through the week. We offer free campus delivery and curbside-pickup.

The R&DE Teaching Kitchen @ Stanford provides cooking classes to students, staff, and faculty, and is the culinary training facility for R&DE Stanford Dining staff.
R&DE has implemented enhanced cleaning, disinfecting and safety procedures in the dining halls and retail locations during the coronavirus pandemic.

Since the onset of the pandemic, Residential & Dining Enterprises has developed comprehensive programs in our dining halls and retail locations to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 and keep the Stanford community safe. While continuing to provide a positive dining experience for students, we’ve implemented the following:
- Mandatory face coverings.
- All meals, beverages and condiments offered prepackaged and to-go.
- Designated handwashing stations at each dining hall entrance.
- Contactless ordering and dining hall check-in.
- One-way directional floor decals ensure physical distancing.
- Mandatory temperature checks required for diners prior to entering dining hall.
- Mandatory temperature checks required for all employees prior to arriving on campus.
- R&DE Stanford Dining’s CleanDining program.
