This database indexes the various employee newsletters published
about SLAC activities from 1963 through February 2006.
SLAC news sources to date have been (in chronological order):
- SLAC News (1963-1971)
Irregularly-published newsletter, produced by the Technical Information
Office, containing site-specific news for all employees. (Indexed
in this database, most issues available electronically)
- The Beam Line (1972-1990)
A monthly newsletter devoted to site-specific news and occasional
articles about science at SLAC. (Indexed in this database, most issues available
electronically.)

The
Interaction Point (TIP) (1990-2006)
Begun as a monthly (1990 through 8/2002), TIP was a bi-weekly from
September 2002 to February 2006, when it ceased publication. It was devoted
to site-specific news for all employees. All of
the bi-weekly and some of the monthly issues of TIP are available
online. (Indexed in this database.)

Beam Line: A Periodical of Particle Physics (1991-2002)
A quarterly scientific publication covering fundamental and applied
research in the physical sciences. (Indexed in this database.) (Note:
This quarterly also has a separate
online index in PDF format.)

Quick News (1997-2003)
QuickNews was a weekly online bulletin of SLAC news and events
posted in the "bulletin board" region of the Highlighted Home and
Detailed Home pages. QuickNews is not indexed in the newsletters
database, but may be searched
