The 2021 SUNCAT Institute comprises a series of virtual events that will highlight and explore the latest advances in catalysis and interfacial science.
We are organizing two broad categories of virtual events:
- The SUNCAT Summer Institute 2021 - August 16th - August 19th 2021, 8 am-11 am - Invited talks, poster sessions and interactive panels.
- The 2021 SUNCAT Sessions - Monthly, 8am-9am PT - A space for leading researchers from around the world to discuss their views on the central questions and most promising directions in catalysis research. In each session, two panelists will give a ~12 - 15 min presentation followed by a ~30 min Q&A panel.
- Our first SUNCAT Session, Electrocatalysis for Emerging Energy Applications will be on April 28th from 8-9 am. SUNCAT Director Thomas Jaramillo will host a session with invited talks from and discussion between Prof. Yang Shao-Horn (MIT) and Prof. Jan Rossmeisl (Copenhagen University).
