Working Together to Address the COVID-19 Pandemic: News and Updates

Stanford, Harvard and MIT have committed to technology licensing principles intended to facilitate and maximize access to university innovations that can address the COVID-19 pandemic. Our formalized commitments can be found at the “COVID-19 Technology Access Framework."

Please check out our licensing and collaboration opportunities at the "COVID-19 Innovations and Pipeline!" We can be contacted through our email and phone numbers listed at the "Staff Directory."

Thank you and Stay healthy!

Office of Technology Licensing (OTL) receives invention disclosures from Stanford faculty, staff and students. We evaluate these disclosures for their commercial possibilities, and when possible license them to industry. If the inventions are successfully licensed, cash royalties collected by OTL provide funding to the inventors' departments and schools, as well as personal shares for the inventors themselves. Our mission is to promote the transfer of Stanford technology for society’s use and benefit while generating unrestricted income to support research and education. Please sign up for SPOTLIGHT Quarterly Newsletter and we will keep you up to date on our latest news and inventions.

NEW! We are pleased to share OTL's 50th Anniversary Edition of our Annual Report, celebrating a half-century of pioneering innovation.
