The BEP is pleased to provide the public with a variety of services which include mutilated currency redemption, an online gift shop to purchase currency products, and a Tour and Visitor Center at each facility that offers free admission to the public.
Redeem damaged currency
Every year the Treasury Department handles approximately 30,000 claims and redeems mutilated currency valued at over $30 million. The BEP redeems mutilated currency as a free public service.
Shop for Currency Products
The BEP offers currency products for public sale to meet the public’s desire for such numismatic collectibles.  All products are designed and manufactured within the BEP to ensure product integrity.
Tour BEP in DC & Fort Worth.

Tours are offered at both facilities, located in Washington, DC and Fort Worth, TX. You'll see millions of dollars being printed during a tour of the BEP. The tour features the various steps of currency production, beginning with large, blank sheets of paper, and ending with wallet-ready bills!
