What Professors Say About Using WSJ in Class

“In today’s tight, highly competitive job market, it is not so much what you know, but whether or not you can apply it that makes the difference. For new graduates, reading WSJ is the best way to be conversant with current events. There is no better way to distinguish yourself from other job applicants than to read the Journal daily.”

David A. Dumpe, Ph.D.
Associate Professor, Department of Finance
Kent State University

“The Wall Street Journal is an excellent vehicle to help students develop professionally and academically. Using the Journal in current events discussions and assignments help students see the importance of course content, and real examples will help them remember those concepts.”

Linda Christiansen
Professor
Indiana University Southeast
