I liked this book after reading it, but much I already knew. We must all recall that The Crusades were begun and started by Islam, when under Harum they burnt the church of the Holy Sepelcur to the ground with all worshipers inside. The Church of the Holy Sepelcur where Jesus is said to have been buried until the Resurrection was the most Holy Church of Christendom at the time and is hallowed to this day. The Mosque upon the Temple Mount is the Shrine to this murderer war monger Harum who brought ruin as bin-Laden shall as well upon his people and Islam. Thus when Mrs. Bush went to pay homage at this shirne to slaughter and prejudice and intolernce there while being heckled by Muslims surrounding her she was paying homage to the bin-Laden of his day very poor edicate and evidence of the lack of real comprehension and reality by the adminsitration. There is an over justification of the many horrors of The Crusades as well but history must always be judged within the context of it's times and not through our modern prism and the luxury it provides, so convienently. All men are barbaric when allowed the anonimity of the larger social group we've seen it in Bosnia Kosovo Rhwanda and now Darfur even since the Holocaust and WWII. Hegel said: "The one thing History teaches is that man learns nothing from Histroy!" The Muslim's have learned nothing that is record and seek to go back to the 7th or 12th century but also as we've seen in England and here in America and elsewhere. We too have not learned from history and all too often enable the forces of evil such as Red China and other criminal Islamic states for the sake of the greed ridden averice of those bankers and corporate criminals who direct our national and foreign policies, in their best interests and not the interests of those who elect representatives the citizens who are to serve their best interests and safety. Since The Crusades are hardly even taught but to be used to cast distain upon Christianity by their very mention, this is a must read for those who know nothing to this movement which also brought the re-discovery of Aristotle ended the dark ages, and created The Renissance as God planned and moved among the nations to bring about His design.
