'Green Helmet' Helps Rescue the Wounded

AP circles the wagons in the Washington Post:

After hours of digging, Daher emerged with the youngest victim. In a parched voice, he shouted something in Arabic and held the child up for the photographer.

To many in the West, such photographs are surprising; but they are not unusual in the Middle East, where grief and drama are often intertwined, and that can include displaying of bodies.

Call me silly but I think the "something" he shouted is a key question. Did he shake his fists at heaven and condemn Hizballah for using human shields? Did he curse the Jews like Mel Gibson at a routine traffic stop? Did he shout, "Allahu Akbar, Mr. DeMille; the child is ready for its close-up"? That's what all the fuss is about.

There is no question that he set up camera shots and most of us are disgusted at AP for playing along.

Lord knows that grief and drama are never intertwined here in the West, where everyone approaches a child's death with a CSI-like mentality ("honey, it would appear that our son died of blunt force trauma to the head, as indicated by the skull fractures consistent with a blunt instrument").

Or, do we lack drama because we don't cheerfully parade around with dead bodies so people can photograph them?

They had the video on LGF. He was saying things "Keep on filming. Better images must be shot."

What propogandist puff-piece drivel! How can the MSM publish such garbage??

Did he shout, "Allahu Akbar, Mr. DeMille; the child is ready for its close-up"?

Best single line ever in Jihadwatch. Quintessential black comedy, and black comedy is by definition based on reality, such as that may be.

Thank you, Anne, for making me LOL in these dark times.

Maybe GH was signalling to his homies that a party was about to start. I mean, the Islam Leadership likes to proclaim that they love death more than we love coca cola.
Leave it to the members of the Insane Society of Lame-brained Arsonist Murderers to use the body of a dead child as a prop in their ongoing march of treachery and lies.
AND leave it to the MSM to take these ghouls at face value.
I would say "Give us a break!" but I bet y'all dollars to felafel that these lies, fabrications, sacrileges and subterfuges (which are Islamic sacraments) will keep going and going and ....

And thank you, Mr. Farmer for your kind words. It is not always easy to be the Joey Bishop of Jihad Watch.

What's sad about this, is that most of the western media refuses to learn from repeated incidents of media manipulation practiced by Islamic spindoctors.

The Germans seem to be the exception, starting with the recent Gaza beach bombing hoax. Wonder what's with that.

Good video I got in email today.

Them "pro's" at AP and Washington post are not very inquisitive bright or professional, one question comes to mind for this Saleh character is "How is it that you are always the FIRST on a scene (yes I heard your tale about answering the phone,,who answers it after you have left the desk?, and how is it that these photographers (who by the way happen to be Hizballah) always seem to have you center framed holding babies.

Of course these questions are rhetorical, I knew the answer before I asked the question, but the questions are so obvious I can't help but ask why the AP and Washington Post didn't ask them, the answer to that is also obvious.. lazy, not bright, slothful and a penchant for CYA.

Did you guys see the other green helmet photo of the man carrying an older child? The child has a blanket over her face. Her feet are perfectly clean, and one arm is flopping over in front of her. The other arm, however, is curled up net to his neck. That's something I would not expect a dead person to do.
