Welcome to the Naval Support Detachment Monterey Police Department home page, a full-service Law Enforcement Agency responsible for providing police services to the Naval Support Detachment Community and its tenant commands. The NSDM Police Department's area of responsibility encompasses five geographically distinct areas totaling over 500 acres in the Monterey area.

Vehicle and DBIDS Registration is located at the main gate, (9th street).  Please contact the Vehicle and DBIDS Registration Office at 656-1174 or 656-3477.

IMPORTANT PARKING INFORMATION
Numerous individuals have received tickets for traffic and parking violations at the Naval Postgraduate School .  Unfortunately, many people have failed to take care of these violations in accordance with the law.  To foster compliance with parking and traffic rules (NAVPGSCOLINST 5560.5C), effective 1 May 2004 the Naval Postgraduate School will suspend base driving privileges for non-payment of United States District Court Violation Notices.
