Mr Wani John Nasona Soka makes his debut interview for SudanVotes.com. Wani John is a proud Southerner and a proud Juba Arabic speaker. The complexities of language education in Sudan over the years has meant that Wani John's first language is Arabic and not English, unlike most of his southern colleagues. While there may be questionable reasons for this in the past, Wani John now plays a crucial role for his country's future in being able to fluently communicate with his northern Sudanese colleagues. John Wani is known as the "glue" between the sudanvotes journalists. And as you'll hear, if you speak Arabic, he rarely comes unstuck.
This is the first audio piece on Sudanvotes from South Sudan, in Juba Arabic.
